ADI’s Travel

We are a young family that loves to travel and go on adventures. When it was just the two of us — David and Iris — as college students we kept ourselves on a very tight budget. Now that we have our amazing daughter, Abigail, we've learned to go on family-friendly trips while still saving big. We love to go on all sorts of adventures, but most of all, we love cute chocolate shops, museums, and plays.

Spring Break 2024 - A Family Adventure Through Ireland, London, and Paris

Iris,

In the midst of starting our senior thesis project, applying to JD/MBA, taking the GMAT, and finishing up our semester in college, we decided to embark on an adventure of a lifetime! Since our “real” life was starting soon and we’d soon be shifting from chill classes to demanding clients, we decided to live life in the moment and travel to Europe. David and I (and of course, Abby) had never been to Europe, so it would be everyone’s first time, and we were excited!

Keep updated on our adventures!

There were some crazy highs (like Abby practicing Romeo and Juliet with the actors), but also some unexpected lows (like the airline losing our stroller on our first flight), but overall the trip was an undeniable success.

Welcome to Ireland!
Watching Romeo and Juliet at the reconstructed Louvre

From being escorted by royal guards through our own personal entrance at Windsor Castle to getting photographed by a French newspaper at the Louvre, our trip was incredible, and very much the perfect spring break for our family!

In Ireland, we visited the Cliffs of Moher and the Burren. In England, we visited Stonehenge, Oxford, Westminster Abbey, Natural History Museum, Hyde Park, British Museum, had a British Tea Experience, watched the Changing of the Guards, had a Sunday Roast, and the list goes on! In France, we visited the Eiffel Tower, the Arc De Triomphe, Notre Dame, Louvre, Orsay, Luxembourg Gardens, Pantheon, ate soooooo many French pastries, and so much more! We’ve broken down our trip below by day and some travel insights we learned on our trip.
